Father Christmas

We wish to thank the people of Witney and surrounding villages for the fantastic support given to Father Christmas when, with his sleigh, he visited static collections in the town with the Witney Lions during December.
The Lions were also delighted to help Santa with his online ‘Santanory’ shows, which brought bedtime stories and seasonal greetings to many younger children ( and a few adults too! ).

We apologise that the pandemic reduced the freedom and opportunities to get out and about that we normally enjoy at this time of year, but we hope that it will be ‘business as usual’ next Christmas.
Meanwhile, we will use the money so kindly donated to support good causes in the local community during 2021. We wish everyone a Happy New Year and above all hope we can stay safe and well.
