Witney Lions Club (CIO) was established in 1969 and is a part of the largest completely voluntary Service Organisation in the world, Lions Clubs International. There are 45,000 clubs in more than 200 countries with 1.4 million members, visit www.lionsclubs.org for more information. Each Club is independent as to how it is run and how funds are raised and distributed to whatever needy cause or person they feel they should support.

Dream Scheme
The Dream Scheme for 2024 is now open for applications.
The Lions Dream Scheme is looking to support and inspire a number of local projects which are trying to make a real difference to the lives of people in our community.
Fund-raising
In order to achieve the distribution of funds to worthy local causes, Witney Lions Club (CIO) raises money throughout the year by participating in events both large and small.
Welfare
Witney Lions Club (CIO) is focused on local fund-raising and support, and along with other UK Lions Clubs we also contribute funds to Lions Club International’s worldwide efforts to serve community needs.
