Charter Dinner – Witney Lakes Resort – 17th June 2022
Our 53rd Charter Anniversary Dinner took place at Witney Lakes Resort on Friday 17th June. Almost 50 people gathered at the Witney Lakes resort function room to celebrate the 53rd Charter anniversary of Witney Lions Club. The formal dinner was attended by Club members, friends, family and guests from other clubs along with District officers.An excellent meal was enjoyed by all (thank-you to the staff that cooked & served us), and the years achievements of the Club and individual members celebrated.Finally, President Keith Holmes, after 2 years in office during the difficult Covid pandemic, was congratulated for his hard work, and Vice President Wyn Devonald took office as President in a short, light hearted ceremony. Lion Julie Surplice was made Vice President for the coming year. .
